Ice cubes of the same size (you can use ice of any shape), containers for the
ice cubes.
What you will do:
Step I: Place each ice cube in a container.
Step 2: Put the ice cubes in different places,
outside, inside and in the fridge.
Step 3: Record time each cube takes to melt
in the given table.
Step 4: Record the activity on another day.

The ice cube which was solid has turned into the liquid water because the air temperature is warmer than the freezers. Which means the ice particles gather heat energy from the warmer air. Therefore the ice particles have enough energy to break apart (melt)into smaller particle arrangements
