V of tank =1500×1000×30
=45000×1000
=45000000dm cube
V of water in pipe after 1 hour =2×1. 5×150
=2×15×15=450dm cube
V of tank /V of water in pipe in 1hour =45000000/450=100000hrs.

Volume of the water to be filled:

Volume = Length x Breadth x Height

Volume = 150 x 100 x 3 = 45000 m³

Convert dm to m:

2 dm = 0.2m

1.5 dm = 0.15 m

Find the area of the pipe:

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 0.2 x 0.15 = 0.03 m²

Find the amount of water flow in 1 hour:

15 km/hour = 15,000 m/hour

1 hour = 15,000 x 0.03 = 450 m²

Find the amount of time needed to fill the tank to 3m deep:

Number of hours = 45000 ÷ 450 = 100 hours

Answer: 100 hours
