Whats is the function of Chloroplast and Plastids?

Here is the answer-

Plastids are of three types-

•Leucoplasts
•Chloroplasts
•Chromoplasts


The plastids which contains chlorophyll is called chromoplasts , hence they are containing chlorophyll, they are important for photosynthesis in plants and they also contains orange and yellow pigments other than chlorophyll.

Plastids are a place of manufacture and storage of chemical compounds used by cell.
