The proteins are digested and are converted into amino acids. The digestion starts from stomach because in mouth, Saliva is not a proteolytic enzyme. So, Eventually proteins starts getting digested in stomach. The Stomach secrets Pepsin. Pepsin helps in the digestion of proteins. HCl in stomach activates Pepsinogen into pepsin. Here, Incomplete digestion takes place, that is:

When the proteins leaves stomach, they are generally in the form of peptones, peptideas and proteoses. Immediately after it reaches small intestine, it gets digested further by the pancreatic enzymes i.e. Trypsin. and also Intestinal juice.

 \large{ \rm{peptides + peptones\:   \normalsize \red{\longrightarrow} \:   \: \large{Amino \:acids}}}

❇ Finally Proteins get converted into Amino acids.
