》 If the number is in p/q form it said as rational number.
Eg: 4/5, 7/11
》 If number is not in p/q form then it is said as irrational numbers.
Eg: √4, √6

A rational number is a number which can be expressed in the form of p/q where p nd q are integers nd q is not equal to 0.The decimal expansion of Rational number are terminating or non terminating repeating.
Irrational numbers cannot be written in form of p/q. The decimal expansion of irrational numbers are non terminating nd non recurring.
