According to the law of the conservation  of mass,, mass can neither be created nor be destroyed, It will always remains conserved in the Reaction.

This means, the total mas before the reaction is equal top the total mass after the Reaction.

But, If we apply this law in Nuclear Physics, we will observe that this law cannot be true. This is because, all the reaction in Nuclear physics is due to the loss of the mass, which is against this law.

Therefore, the new concept of this law came, which is known as the law of conservation of the mass and energy. The mass and energy was  inter convertible by the Formula,

E = mc²

The new statement of that law is, the total mass and the energy of the system remains the constant before and after the reaction.

Hope it helps.

Answer:

No because it states that energy can be created nor be destroyed but it can change to one form to another form and in law of conservation of mass the mass can neither be created nor be destroyed it will not be like this mass can change to one form to another form
