If 12 is added to each number, they will be in the ratio 4:5 .on addition of 12 the number become 2x+12 and 3x+12 and their ratio 4:5.

4(3x+13)=5(2x+12)

12x+48=10x+60

12x-10x =60-48

2x=12

x=12/2

x=6
