As we know that

'0' means nothing if we add or substract to any number

the resultant value will remains constant.

Let's take an example

8-0=8

6+0=6

Given,

Minuend = any number

Subtrahend = zero (0)

To find,

To check if the difference is the Minuend itself or not.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

We will do the whole thing practically.

Here,

Minuend can be any number, so we will take 9 as the Minuend.

Subtrahend = 0

Difference = 9-0 = 9

So,

Minuend = Difference

Given statement is verified by the above mentioned conclusion.

Hence, it is true that when 0 is subtracted from a number, the difference obtained is the number itself.
