Given that : R1 = 1 ohm, R2 = 1/4 ohm and R3 = 2/3 ohm

As we know that : In parallel combination

 \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  =  \frac{1}{ </strong><strong>R</strong><strong>_{1} }  +  \frac{1}{ </strong><strong>R</strong><strong>_{2}}  +  \frac{1}{ </strong><strong>R</strong><strong>_{3}}  \\  \\  =  &gt;  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  =  \frac{1}{1}  +  \frac{1}{ \frac{1}{4} }  +  \frac{1}{ \frac{2}{3} }  \\  \\  =  &gt;  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  = 1 + 4 +  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\  =  &gt;  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  =  \frac{2 + 8 + 3}{2}  =  \frac{13}{2}

So, the equivalent resistance will be 2/13 ohm.
