Given :

Number of electrons removed from the sphere = 10¹⁴ electrons

To Find :

The charge on the sphere = ?

Solution :

  • Charge on the sphere (q) = ne
  • By substituting the values in the formula

      q = ne

      q = 10¹⁴ × 1.6×10⁻¹⁹

      q = 1.6×10⁻⁶ C

      q = 1.6μC

 The charge on the sphere is  1.6μC
