when 50g of sugar is dissolved in 100ml of water, there is no increase in volume. What characterstic of matter is illustrated by this observation?

it's shows that particles of matters have space in between them. ...
The particles of liquid water r not tightly packed and have loose spaces.We can see hat sugar is dissolved and it has taken the spaces between the particles of water and volume is Same.
