Arabian sea branch is responsible for rain in most of the India. The first monsoon hits the kerela coast and then we say monsoon has arrived. so likewise there are various split in South west monsoon winds which is ladden wide immense moisture and causes rain in various parts.
Arabian sea branch doesn't cause rainfall in central peninsula bcz the moisture ladden wind is unable to reach there due to the aravali ranges in North which diverts the wind direction towards bihar and north east.
