R=V/I

resistance R = 12/2.5

R = 4.8

Given, Potential difference (v) = 12V

Current (I) = 2.5 mA = 2.5/1000 A = 2.5 × 10^-3 A

From Ohm's law,

\boxed{\bold{V =IR}}

》Resistance (R) = V/I

》 R = 12/ 2.5×10^-3

》R = 12×10/25×10^-3

》R = 24 × 10^3/5

》R = 24 ×10×100/5

》R = 4800 ohm

》R = \boxed{\bold{4.8\:kohm}}
