Answer:

✔️✔️4800ohm✔️✔️

explanation :-

V = 12V

I = 2.5×10^-3 A

= 25×10^-4 A

according to ohm's law :

V = IR

12 = 25×10^-4 × R

12/25×10^-4 = R

12 × 10^4 / 25 = R

120000 / 25 = R

4800ohm = R

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}

Potential difference = 12 V

Current in circuit = 2.5 mA or2.5 \times  {10}^{ - 3}  A

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{To find:-}}}}

The resistance of unknown resistor

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer:-}}}}

By using ohm's law we have,

\bold{R = \frac{v}{i}  }

\implies \bold{R =   \frac{12}{2.5 \times  {10}^{ - 3} } }

\implies \bold{R=4.8 × {10}^{3}Ω}

therefore,the resistance of resistor is \sf\red{\underline{4800 Ω}}
