Given:-

V = 20 V

I = 50 mA = 50 × 1/10³ A

Formula:-

V = IR

» R = V/I

» R = 20 × 10³/50

» R = 400 Ω

Given :

  • Voltage of the battery (V) = 20 V

  • Current in the unknown resistor (I) = 50 mA = 0.05 A

Answer:

  • As we know that,

➩ V = IR

  • Putting the all given values in above given formula we get :]

➩ 20 = 0.05 × R

➩ R = 20/0.05

R = 400 Ω

Therefore, the value of the resisiatnce of the resisitor is 400 Ω.
