When a body falls freely under gravitational force, it possesses zero weight. The body feels weightless.

This can be explained as,

The body that is freely falling has a acceleration same as the same with which the earth pulls objects towards it. And so, the net Acceleration(you can say) becomes zero.

And we know, Weight is force which is equal to mass×acceleration. Since overall acceleration becomes zero overall weight becomes zero and it seems weightless.

Cheers!
