when an object moves in circular path with constant speed

then it acceleration is given as

a = \frac{v^2}{R}

now we have

a_1 = \frac{v^2}{R}

when speed is doubled then acceleration is given as

a_2 = \frac{(2v)^2}{R}

a_2 = \frac{4v^2}{R}

now the ratio of final and initial acceleration will be

\frac{a_2}{a_1} = \frac{4v^2/R}{v^2/R}

so it will be

\frac{a_2}{a_1} = 4 : 1

so the ratio of acceleration will be 4 : 1
