when a burning charcoal piece is covered with a glass jar then the burning of the piece stops why​

Burning of a candle needs continuous supply of oxygen present in the air.

By covering the candle with a jar,the supply of oxygen gets cut and as there is only limited quantity of oxygen left the candle burns for a moment then goes off completely.

Since there is no oxygen left in the jar.
