Explanation: Let's assume there's a bus moving upwards on a hill.

Please refer to the picture attached.

Let's say there's a passenger standing in the middle of the bus. So, when the bus moves upwards the passenger tends to fall backwards (in the clockwise direction as shown). We all can easily assume this as a real life situation. He can only take support of his legs.

So, the Center of Gravity(C.G) is on the center of his body as shown in the figure. Thus, we can say, spontaneously he will arrange his legs as such that the C.G. will be within his legs as shown. So, actually he is keeping the C.G. within his legs.
