Yes on melting of candle both physical and chemical changes occur. when a candle burns ash is formed which is a chemical change

The Physical changes in the candle is that the wax melts into liquid, and then freezes back into solid. The Chemical changes are that the smokes.So, this is a chemical and a physical change.
