As it stays for a long time in one place it accumulates dust which flies out when beaten with a stick due to force

here in this question the dust comes out when beaten with the stick because of phenomenon of newtons law of motion. according to newtons third law ' every action have equal and opposite reaction' so beating with stick is action and dust comes out is reaction . so by this we can say that every action have its own reaction

carpets are made up of wool and as we know wools have small air pockets present in it so along with air the dust particles are also present so when we beat the carpet dust comes out along with air
