When a cell reproduces, what happens to its DNA ?

Explanation:

When a cell reproduces, its DNA replicates i.e. DNA is copied to synthesise new DNA strands. The replicated DNA is passed on to the offspring. DNA contains the hereditary information. It forms the blue print of the design of body of the offspring.
