when a charged plastic is brought near another uncharged plastic straw. Will they attract because the other straw has no charge and only charged objects are like or unlikely charge then,only they'll attract or repel?

here's ur answer...

always remember that an uncharged body and charged body attract each other and two like charges repel each other. a charge body is brought near another uncharged plastic so they will attract. just like, like poles repel each other and unlike poles attract each other. like charges also repel each other and unlike charges attract each other. and this force of charge is called electrostatic force.

They will attract each other.

This is because the charged plastic will induce the opposite charge on the other one and hence they will attract each other.

For eg. say the charged plastic is positively charged. When it is brought near the uncharged one, the positive charge will attract the electrons of the uncharged particle. As a result, the electron density towards the positively charged plastic increases, thus, developing a negative charge.

Now the positive and negative charge will attract each other.
