When a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field , it experiences a mechanical force , the equation is as follows

F= ILB sinθ

where

B= Magnetic field

I= Current

θ= is the angle between direction of field and current.

I) If θ= 0 then force experienced would be zero

∵F= ILBsinθ

=ILBsino°

=0

I) When θ=90

Then force experienced would be maximum

∵F= ILBsinθ

=ILB sin90

=ILB[ ∵ sin90=1]
