When a fair dice is thrown, the probability of scoring a 6 is 1/6. Arun throws four fair dice.

a) What is the probability that he scores 6 with at least one of the four dice?

b) What is the probability that he scores 6 with exactly one of the four dice?

Please help need to answer urgently.

Let X denote the number of doublets. Possible doublets are (1, 1), (2, 2), (3, 3), (4, 4), (5, 5,), (6, 6).

Since, the dice thrown trice, therefore X can take the value 0, 1, 2, or 3.

Probability of getting a doublet = p = 1/6 and q = 1 – 1/6 = 5/6
