When a flowers die, they go through which change

Dying or even living for that matter is a chemical process. It is irreversible and is involved with changing bonds using or giving out energy.

As soon as we die, the energy processes (again chemical changes that keep occurring when we are living) that are involved in maintaining our homeostasis fail to function and microorganisms begin to cause decay in our body parts leading to recovery becoming impossible.

Some might disagree on the irreversible part (shocks to recover from a heart failure) but such cases work only when the entire body is not completely dead, that is, some higher centers are still in working condition.

I hope this answers your question.

In plants that give fruits, the fruits are actually the developed flowers.

When a fertilisation takes place, the ovary (a part of the flower) expands to form a fruit and the ovules (inside the ovary) form the seeds. While the petals wither out.

Hopeful this is helpful.

Thank you
