when a glass rod is rubbed with silk , what kind of charge is aquired by each. explain

when ebonite rod rubbed with silk it acquire electric charge

When glass rod is rubbed with silk, the glass rod loses electrons and the silk accepts it. So after rubbing, the glass becomes positively charged while silk becomes negatively charged.
