Green salt is Ferrous Sulphate crystals .
Formula -
(FeSO4).

Brown substance obtained is ferric oxide.

Formula- (Fe2O3).

Chemical eqn.

2FeSO4 -----∆> Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3

This is decomposition reaction..
