this happens because of Newton's 3rd law of motion in which it states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction

aashrita1503: I need a complete sentence. I cannot write this.
aashrita1503: It should begin with according to the third law of motion.......
santoshdetective: according to 3rd law of motion the amount of velocity which goes forward with same speed and velocity it comes backward so it indicates that every action has an equal and opposite reaction
aashrita1503: Okay thanks

NEWTONS'S THIRD LAW APPLIED

THAT IS ACTION= REACTION

WHEN GUN IS FIRED BULLET GOES WITH A HIGH VELOCITY AND SO IT EXERT PRESSURE AND AS A RESULT OF REACTION IT APPLIED BACKWARD FORCE AS WELL.

THANKS

aashrita1503: When a gun is fired what goes with high velocity?
santoshdetective: both are same according to 3rd law
aashrita1503: Thanks
