When a magnet is moved away with its north polarity towards a coil placed in a closed circuit, then the nearest face of the coil shows polarity:

As per lens' law, the coil attains a polarity so as to nullify the change in magnetic flux

When north pole of magnet is moved away from coil, the net inward magnetic field decreases, thus inward flux of coil decreases.

Thus to nullify the decreases in this inward flux, the coil increases the inward flux by attracting the north pole of magnet by attaining south polarity
