Because, gravitational pull experienced by the person is negligible in comparison to gravitational pull by the earth..

To test it,

you can try placing two smaller, weaker magnets on ground at the distance where they attract each other (showing that magnetic force is acting)

And, then placing them same distance apart over an much stronger magnet (may be from a speaker).

Second time mutual attraction isn't visible as forces by larger magnet is extremely large..

[magnetic forces and gravitational forces are analogous(similar) in nature.. one being experienced due to gravitation by any objects and other due to magnetism by magnetic object]
