To check if the heart is functioning correctly or not.....they connect the electrical leads one each at ur wrists and at the left ankle, that continuously monitor the heart activity.

If they find any disputes in the wave which is denoted by PQRST wave.....they will immediately suggest u with proper medication or surgery.
