when a piece of paper and a coin are dropped from the same height simultaneously.the coin reaches the ground first and paper takes some times in reaching to the ground. it we crumple up the piece of paper in the form of a ball and let the two drop from the same height again tthey reach the ground almost at the same time.

It is just because of air resistance. In the absence of air or vacuum if two objects of same mass say 1 Kg are dropped from a height then the will fall at the same time.

This is.because the weight if the paper is lighter than the coin as well as the fact that the more the area , the lesser the force and pressure . So the paper has a greater area , making it come slower than the coin , which is much smaller . When the paper is crumpled , the area becomes smaller and if crumpled in form of a ball then its area becomes almost similar to that of a coin , making the time of drop much similar between both of them .
