when a plastic bottle dropped in waterfloats but same bottle filled with water floats

When the plastic bottle is dropped in water with no water in it will float as it has air inside it which helps it to float on water and it is lighter as well but when we fill water inside the bottle it will sink as there is no air in the bottle which makes it heavier so its things inside the water.
