It is mutually exclusive events because we can't get both events at the same time.

Hi ,

Option ( a ) is correct.

****************************************
Mutually exclusive events :

A set of events is said to be mutually

exclusive if happening of one of them

prevents the happening of the

remaining events .

I hope this helps you.
