When a train crosses a platform with high
velocity, passenger on the platform tend to fall
towards the train. This phenomenon can be
explained on the basis of :
(a) Stoke’s law
(b) Archimede’s principle
(c) Bernoulli’s theorem
(d) Pascal’s law

Answer:

Bernoulli's theorem

Explanation:

According to the Bernoulli's theorem,

  - Greater is the velocity

  - Smaller is the pressure and vise-versa.

Therefor the air pressure behind the person becomes bigger than the air pressure between the person and the train. Due to this pressure difference, the force acts on the person towards the train.

Bernoulli’s theorem.

Bernoulli’s principle expresses that the complete mechanical energy of a moving liquid including the gravitational likely energy of height, the energy related with the liquid tension, and the motor energy of the smooth movement, stays steady throughout. Bernoulli's hypothesis is the guideline of energy protection for ideal liquids inconsistent, or smoothed out, stream and is the reason for some designing applications in engineering.
