Whenever the velocity of an body increases uniformly the acceleration is said to be positive.
PROOF !
V>U .......V is the Final Velocity
........ U is the Initial velocity
..... T is the time
..... A is the acceleration
So, V > U 》 So, V - U = Positive
A = (V-U)/T ..... acceleration Formula
Here v-u is positive and T is always positive so posutive divided by positive is also positive.
Hence Accleration is Positive.
But if V < U then Accleration is Negative its Speed is decreasing.
As V-U is nefative but divided by T is also negative as -ve divided by +ve.
