Explanation:

When an electric current is passed through a wire, it is true that a magnetic field is produced around it. However, such magnetic fields are very weak. The magnetic field produced by an electric iron connecting cable is very weak and is not enough to attract nearby objects.

Answer:

When an electric current is passed through any wire , a magnetic field is produced around it..

YES THIS STATEMENT IS APPSOLUTELY correct ..

But the Power which is Given out by the Electric current is not soo Powerful..or we can say that do not have power to attract ..to any object...

So..the cable of the electric iron is quiet weak.

and can not able to attract iron object when electric current is switched on ..

AND IF U WANT TO INCREASE THE POWER OF THE CABLE THEN U SHOULD PROVide MORE ELECTRIC CURRENT and increase A GREAT NUMBER OF COILS..
