Static friction

when a body is in contact with another body and some normal force acts then if any force is applies on then which causes relative motion between them, a resisting force will act called frictional force. Up to a point when motion does not start the friction acting is called static friction, once the motion starts then resisting force acting slightly decreases [call dynamic friction force. So the force required to overcome to start a motion is static frictional force.

so best possible answer is Static friction.
