When an observer at a distance of 12 m from a tree looks at the top of the tree , the angle of elevation is 60 degree. What is the height of the tree?

According to question ,

let , ABC is a right angle triangle

angle B = 90°, AB = h , BC = 12 m

so,

tan60° = AB/BC

√3= h/12

h. = 12√3m ans

putting the value of √3

h = 12*1.73

= 20.76m ans
