Atlast he was tention about his daughter because she had not wrote a letter to him. At that he woke at 2clock and sit in the post office at that time heard a sound on the door like knocking he opened the door at that time he has saw the Ali's soul but that was an imaginary to him.

the post master desired to give Miriam letter to Ali .At 5:00 clock he heard a gentle knock at the door .Ali was standing outside .He looked very old ,weak and tears were wet on his face .there was a light and unearthly in his eyes . The post master shrank back in fear and astonishment .Ali took the letter and disappeared . Lakshmi das came.He told Lakshmi das that he was talking to Ali .A post man who had just arrived gave the news that Ali died three months ago . the post master was bewildered .
