holi is celebrated in 12th march..as we know it is the festival of colours...it is our chance to forget all the bad deed and fill our heart with clean and colourfull colours ...other mythological reasons r holi is celebrated as a festival of colours in the honor of Hindu god Vishnu and his follower Prahlada and also in commemoration of the divine love of Radha for Krishna

Answer:

Holi is celebrated 2 days on first days it is said that Hiranyakashipu the father of Prahlad tries to burn his son with the help of his sister holika because she got a magical cloth and anyone who wears it would not feel the heat of fire . So he plans that she would sit with Prahlad in fire and Prahlad would burnt out but the cloth flies to the head of Prahlad . Hence Prahlad life was saved and holika died . So on this day we burn our bad habits in that holy fire . On the next day we celebrate the win of good over evil by eating sweets and play with colours. It is celebrated on 28 march 2021
