dividing ax³+9x²-4x-8 by x-3

by using remainder theorem

x=3

p(3)=a(3)³+9(3)²-4(3)-8

=27a+81-12-8

=27a+61

a=61-27

a=34

Answer:

By remainder theorum:

p(x)=0

p(3)=0

ax^3+9x^2-4x-8=0

a(3)^3+9(3)^2-4(3)-8=0

27a+81-12-8 =0

27a+61 =0

27a =(-61)

a =(-61/27) answer.
