When Children are born, They start crying..... Why does This Happen? What does it Signify ?

Why aren't They born with Laughing Or Expressionless....??

They cry because of the disturbances they faced during the time period of birth.
They were in the womb of their mother for very long time period, undisturbed and unharmed and during the period of birth they face so many experiences at a same time so they get disturbed and start to cry.

PS: although this answer looks weird but it is true.

Prashant24IITBHU: this is not necessary that every child cries after birth some of them remain expressionless also. but crying is the general phenomena.

Actually, not all babies cry with their first breath after being born. ...
