When concentrated acid is added to water whether the process is exothermic and not endothermic.
It is an exothermic reaction as heat is released during the process. When the water is added to the acid, the acid and the water forms a more concentrated solution. Much heat is released in this process as the solution boils violently and hence it is an exothermic reaction.
