HEYY THERE!

When copper sulphate crystals are heated,

Reaction is:
CuSO₄.5H₂O -------> CuSO₄ + 5H₂O

Copper sulphate crystals (or blue vitriol) was blue in colour.

However, after heating, the product obtained is anhydrous copper sulphate, which is white in colour, or colourless.

HENCE, option (D) is the correct answer.

THANKS!
