When current is passed through a coil it gets heated up due to the resistance of the material.
- When a current is passed through a coil there is an overflow of current due to which the material gets heated up.
- In a conducting material or coil, the number of positive ions is equal to the number of electrons flowing in it. The electrons get attracted towards the positive end, due to more number of electrons at the positive end, the coil or the conductore gets heated up.
