When designing a scientific presentation, look for the most credible sources. There are sites and articles that provide facts without proper scientific evidence. Avoid using information from such sites.
Use sources that end in .gov (government sites), such as CDC.gov. They can be deemed trustworthy, but sometimes the information is written by students rather than scientists. Always find out who the author of the article is before proceeding. As you review a source, always try to answer these questions:

Who authored the article?
Is this person a scientist or an expert in chemistry?
What is the purpose of the article?
Does the article state facts that scientists can prove with evidence?
Are there opinions in the article?
How old is the article?
Do other credible sources support the statements in this article?
Find some credible websites, and note the information they contain. Write down two or three sources that you’ll use for your presentation, and cite them using MLA (Modern Language Association) citation methods. Write one or two sentences stating how the source will help you answer the questions from part A.

Answer:

Combustion is familiar to all of us, but many do not realize that it is essentially a chemical reaction. In the process of combustion, two ingredients biomass and oxygen are combined in a high temperature environment to form carbon dioxide, water vapor, and heat. Acid rain happens when sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are go into the atmosphere and is moved by wind. Difference Between Biomass and Fossil Fuels is that fossil fuels release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Coal has the approximate chemical formula Natural gas is the best fossil fuel in terms of energy output per unit carbon dioxide emitted. Biomass is renewable because a new crop can be grown after each harvest, and biomass is a low carbon fuel.Researchers in the USA and China have now developed a new catalyst that directly converts cellulose, the most common form of biomass, into ethylene glycol, an important intermediate product for chemical industry. The catalyst is made of tungsten carbide and nickel on a carbon support. It is abundant, and can be used without interruption, cleaner than fossil fuel. Cons: Can result in air pollution, takes a lot of energy to produce, can be seasonable and competes with food production. Landfill gas, solid waste energy comes from harnessing the decomposition of organic material.
