indian national congress adopt the resolution for removal of untouchability from hindusm because it was followed all over hindusim. they are called sc as now.
the untouchability people suffered a lot because of this . these untouchability people belonged to lower castes where they are not allowed to enter the region of uppar caste people, not supposed to enter into the holy places , always should be working under the upper caste people, they wont be touched by uppur cates people, they didnt even have the rights to lern, their hands should be folded in front of the upper caste people. they suffered more than this. they did not have equall rights even after the independence.so government thought of giving equall rights to all people so they first removed untouchability from hindusim. and even they had many discounts in every thing for this people.
even now there are some villages that follows untouchability it is true my friend
