(A) In British Period
In 1928, the All Parties Conference met a panel in Lucknow to set up the Indian Constitution, which was known as the Nehru Report. A large portion of India was under direct British rule from the year 1857 to 1947. Upon autonomy, it turned out to be clear another constitution was should have been made. In any case, for that, all of India should have been become tied up with the association. This implied the Princely States should have been persuaded to turn into a piece of the Indian association. Either forcibly or discretion, V.P Menon and Sardar Vallabhai Patel did this unenviable errand. Until this happened India was still lawfully a domain under the British, answerable for outside security.
